Activities information at Chrysalis Family Centre
Chrysalis has started running activities for interested service users from the week commencing 6th of October 2025. Children in foster care or young people leaving care are welcome to these activities. All workers and volunteers are enhanced DBS checked. Check below for specific details.
Our Activities
Mother & Toddler group:
Embrace the joy of motherhood at our Mommy & Me playgroup! Engage in play sessions, participate in structured activities, and enjoy enlightening guest speakers. A small contribution for refreshments and volunteer costs is kindly requested. Connect with fellow parents, strengthen the bond with your little one, and create cherished memories in our supportive environment for both children and adults to learn and grow together. Special events and workshops are also part of our offerings for a fun and enriching experience. Join our vibrant community!

Homework Club:
Looking to enrich your child's education? At our Homework Club, we provide academic support in a nurturing environment, fostering success and a love for learning. Join us for an after-school program dedicated to enhancing students' educational journeys.
Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5.00pm-7.00pm for 2 hours of dedicated learning time. Let us help your child thrive academically!
Sewing/Arts and Crafts:
Join us on Saturdays from 11.00am to 1.00pm for a sewing and arts and crafts session tailored for young teen girls. Whether you're just starting out or already have some experience, come be part of a supportive and enjoyable environment where creativity can flourish. A nominal fee is required. Bring yourself and your passion, and let's create beautiful things together!
No prior experience is needed, just bring your enthusiasm and eagerness to learn! Embrace your creativity with us.
Cooking Club:
Embark on a voyage through diverse cuisines and taste the richness of global flavours. Treat your taste buds to a delightful experience!
